Product Spotlight: Porro
While you may know Porro for its range of modern closet systems (we recently invested in a new 1,000+ square foot Porro closet display), the Italian brand also boasts a collection of contemporary furnishings for the home. Defined by clean lines, regular forms and functionality, Porro’s furnishings fuse tradition and innovation by blending high-tech and natural, simple materials. Take a look at our favorite pieces from their new collection that debuted at Milan Design Week.
Inspired by Scandinavian furniture design, the Frank armchair is ideal to complete a dining room space. Its shell-shaped back and seat can be upholstered in fabric, leather or eco-leather.
The Jeff table has a surface in solid chestnut (in natural or stained black) and is suspended on two metallic bases that are shaped in an open half-curve and made of polished pigmented aluminum. This table is available in three different sizes.
Porro’s Modern cabinet system, designed by Piero Lissoni, is reimagined with hyper-curated details including an almost-invisible hinge, new boxes and tray shelf tops in solid aluminum, integrated lighting, glass doors, and lacquered containers with wooden interiors (and vice versa).
